Ready To Respond

Following the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, the Red Cross worked with local communities and schools to establish local early warning and evacuation systems. Disaster preparedness remains an important part of the schools curriculum and disaster simulation drills continue to be held on a regular basis.
