RITA: Midline Evaluation Video

Resilience in the Americas (RITA) is implemented by Red Cross National Societies in 12 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, with technical support from the American Red Cross. The focus of the program is to work alongside communities to strengthen their resilience in face of disasters. At the same time, RITA is also designed to strengthen the capacity of national societies in the Americas region.

In early 2016, two and a half years after the start of its implementation, project teams conducted a Midline Evaluation to assess program progress, understand its positive impacts and address any challenges faced by implementing teams or communities. The process involved an extensive document review, Community Profile discussions in 44 communities across the region and over 5,800 household surveys in 7 countries.

This video summarizes the process by which National Societies, along with the American Red Cross have conducted the evaluation process.
