Reducing risk… strengthening resilience

This film presents the project for the strengthening of capacity and resources for disaster risk management by the Haitian population financed by the European Commission Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Department (ECHO) better known as DIPECHO 9.
The DIPECHO project is implemented in Haiti by a consortium including the French, Spanish, German and Haitian Red Cross, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies (IFRC).
Working together with communities, the Red Cross aims to strengthen community resilience so that disasters need not have unnecessarily disastrous impacts.
