Adapting to climate change in the Sahel

Climate change is felt acutely in the Sahel region, where the population is largely dependant on agriculture and livestock. The 3-4 months of summer rains are vital to survival. If these alter, food shortages and disasters can follow. This film, developed by Christian Aid together with the “Centre Ecologique Albert Schweizer”, the “Office de Développement des Eglises Evangéliques”, and the “Réseau MARP”, shows examples of measures that can be taken to adapt to the changing climate.
