Executive Summary: Study of Flood Resilience in the Localities of the Huasteca Potosina

This document shares key points from the analysis of flood resilience in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and presents four priority areas for strengthening disaster risk management with the participation of diverse institutions, groups and individuals. The study is based on the analysis of the results of the implementation of flood resilience measurement baseline studies in a number of urban localities in the municipalities of Ciudad Valles, Tamazunchale and Tamuín in the Huasteca Potosina region, using the Flood Resilience Measurement for Communities (FRMC) tool developed by the Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance.
