He has worked for International Development Research Centre (IDRC, Canada) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) programs in Nepal, Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre (ADPC), Thailand, Canadian Red Cross in South and Southeast Asia, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in Pakistan, German Red Cross in the Philippines and is now working with the Swedish Red Cross in Sudan.
