Life long "preparedness volunteer" - youth American Red Cross (hospital), Boy Scout (Eagle), Volunteer Rescue Squad member (multiple certifications including Rescue Diver, EMT/P), Naval Officer, Disaster Cycle Services Volunteer with American Red Cross since 2002 in various roles and levels. Most recently served as Interim Disaster Program Manager for the El Paso Area Chapter for 7 months. Prior to that served as the Preparedness Officer/Volunteer Partner for successive State Disaster Officers supporting DC, DE, MD, VA, and WV. In that role was responsible for managing Advanced Training and Instructors within the jurisdiction as well as supporting Basic Training and Exercises.
