Amelia Hoover is a Disaster Program Manager with the American Red Cross currently based in Detroit, Michigan, where she manages a paid and volunteer-led workforce responding to and preparing for emergencies near and far. With a diverse background in politics, public health, and disasters both foreign and domestic, Amelia is a lifelong student of best practice in aid, and is particularly interested in public health in the humanitarian context, as well as low-tech to high-tech data solutions for better informing service delivery.
