I am a Global Supply Chain specialist with over 18 years experience with Supply Chain strategies, leadership and management, including Drug Supply design, distribution, implementation, and System Management within the INGO and Corporate arenas. I have vast technical experience in transport, warehousing, emergency management, distribution, and capacity building of national staff. I am an Australian and currently based in Port Moresby – Papua New Guinea, where I hold the position of Supply Chain Adviser and Medical Warehouse Improvement specialist on behalf of the National Department of Health and AusAID Prior to my work in PNG, I was the Senior Director Global Supply Chain with the International Rescue Committee New York where my role included but was not limited to- Supervising and mentoring a team of high achieving, multicultural and respected Roving GSC staff, including the promotion and development of IRC national staff from Burundi, Iraq, and South Sudan. Consistently provided technical inputs to internal and external projects. I developed process tools for the collection of the first ever monthly reporting of high level Supply Chain data and implementation of dashboards and KPIs. 2013 saw the inaugural Global Supply Chain Pharmaceutical warehousing manual developed and delivered to the field. Lead the Logistics input of project proposal, specifically Pharmaceutical and Health related. Delivered training on Health Logistics and Supply Chain processes to national staff in 14 countries, including Iraq; Jordan, South Sudan, Chad, Liberia, Egypt, Yemen, Turkey, Kenya Thailand, Myanmar to name a few. I have an impetus for Best in Class Supply Chain practices which are only limited by budgetary constraints. Experience in both Contract and Project Management Through my experience and knowledge of my work as Logistics Advisor with the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Vanuatu, I provided technical and project delivery across a number of Programmatic Health initiatives. My work as National Operations Director - Sigma Pharmaceuticals in Australia crossed a number of different processes to ensure delivery of specific projects against budgetary constraints.
