Siguen seis módulos temáticos: Comenzando, Diálogos, Comunicación, Gestión de desastres, Reducción de riesgos en comunidades y Salud y Asistencia. Cada módulo comienza con una sección que ofrece un panorama de experiencias reales y perspectivas de la Cruz Roja/Media Luna Roja, seguida por una sección de acciones con guía específica paso a paso.
