This is IFRC guidance on the use of face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. These recommendations are based on the WHO guidelines on epidemic and pandemic-prone acute respiratory infections in health care, updated systematic review of randomized controlled trials, and evaluation of current evidence by WHO adhoc COVID-19 IPC Guidance Development Group.
