Prepare with Pedro: A Fun and Educational Preparedness Program for Kids

Prepare with Pedro is a 30- to 45-minute preparedness education program for grades K-2 that teaches students how to BE PREPARED and TAKE ACTION for either home fires or a local hazard.

The Prepare with Pedro program complements The Pillowcase Project in scope in mission through a series of hazard storybooks that feature a penguin named Pedro as he learns how to be prepared for and take action during emergencies.  

  • Students learn a coping skill and receive a storybook to share what they have learned at home.
