Water and Sanitation in Gaza

http://www.worldbank.org/we – In one of the most densely populated areas in the world, the need for a dependable water supply is critical in the Gaza Strip. The scarce water resources presents a major humanitarian and development challenge. The environment is choked with untreated sewage, threatening the health and well being of the Palestinian population, as well as water resources and the environment. The development of reliable water and sanitation services has long been a central component of the World Bank’s program.
