Zambezi River Basin Initiative

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies’ (IFRC) southern Africa office was asked to appoint a technical team to support the development of the Zambezi River Basin Initiative (ZRBI) concept. The ZRBI represents a shared vision amongst southern Africa National Societies – one of maximising the impact of Red Cross interventions in an integrated and holistic way. This resource presents the details of the ZRBI. Published in 2009.
