Climate Adaptation Efforts in Africa

The Mbaula Chititezo Stove and Rocket Barns are pioneering technologies that are saving forests in Malawi and reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the process. Hestian Innovations, an Irish company, uses micro loans and carbon financing to provide cookstoves and barns for tobacco curing — simple technologies that use less wood — in one of the most deforested nations on Earth.
