Community Brigades – Solutions Brief

This solution brief forms part of the Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance’s solutions series. The solution series aims to improve outreach and impact of such resilient practices at a global level. This brief explores how the Mexican Red Cross have worked to strengthen social capacities and local action through the formation and training of community brigades. This resource presents the process of implementing this intervention in the flood-prone state of Tabasco, highlighting the impact on community resilience, and sharing the experience of community brigade members.
