HIV/AIDS, disaster and food security: the Baphalali Swaziland Red Cross Society pilot project

As a result of commitments made by African National Societies at the 2000 Pan African Conference, the Baphalali Swaziland Red Cross Society (BSRCS) decided to implement a food security pilot project. This project is implemented through a tripartite agreement between the Finnish Red Cross, the BSRCS and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. This resource presents the intervention, impact and lessons learned from this project. Published in 2004.
