Comparative Review of The Pillowcase Project

This report presents key insights and findings from a Comparative Review of The Pillowcase Project.  The study was led by Sustainability Frontiers and funded by the Global Disaster Preparedness Center (GDPC).  Beginning in January 2016, the research team aimed to review and compare the various approaches of implementing The Pillowcase Project across the six participating national societies of the international pilot and including the program roll-out through the American Red Cross.  This review of process and immediate impact of programmatic goals contributes to an understanding of successful approaches and further informs long-term behavioral change determination.  The findings and recommendations provided in this report will help guide future developments, adaptability, and integration of The Pillowcase Project within national contexts and within the Comprehensive School Safety Framework.
