DRR training empowers girls – South Africa

Case study of Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality in South Africa which used disaster risk reduction training to empower girls in townships. They worked in partnership with research institutions and local government officials and are spreading key messages of resilience among neighbouring townships now.

One in a series of video case studies created by the Global Network for Disaster Reduction.
