IPCC fifth assessment report: climate change 2014 – Synthesis report

The synthesis report distils and integrates the findings of the three working group contributions to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) – the most comprehensive assessment of climate change yet undertaken, produced by hundreds of scientists – as well as the two Special Reports produced during this cycle.

The report addresses the following topics: (i) observed changes and their causes; (ii) future climate change, risks and impacts; (iii) future pathways for adaptation, mitigation and sustainable development; and (iv) adaptation and mitigation.
